The teacher distributes

A and B) and ensures that the learners understand
the key categories on the profile cards. This
could be done by oral questions and an example
made of one of the members of the class.
Example:

住まいは住んでいるところです。セーラさんはメルボルンに住んでいますから、住まいはメルボルンです。 |

Learners work individually to complete
either sheet A or B. They will obtain the information necessary
to complete the profile cards of three students only by referring
to the Deai photographs and text booklet.
Learners form pairs
(one with sheet A and the other with sheet B)
and complete the remaining three profile
cards by asking one another questions in Japanese.

Learners cross-check
completed profile cards.
