コンピュータには小学生のころから興味をもっていたので、この高校に入ったときからプログラミングの授業はどうしてもとりたいと思っていました。
この授業ではホームページを作成しながら、プログラムのしくみを勉強します。簡単なコマンドを打つだけで、システムができたり、プログラムが動いたりするのがすごい。よくまあこんなものを考えたなあと感心します。つっこんで勉強すれば、もっとおもしろくなるのでしょうが、先生も含めてクラスの仲がよすぎるせいで、ついおしゃべりに興じてしまったり、先生が脱線してしまったり……。

I've been interested in computers since I was in elementary school, and after I entered this high school I was determined to take a course in programming.
In this class we study the elements of programming while we create a website of our own. It's amazing how you can create complex systems and manipulate the programs using fairly simple commands. I really admire whoever worked out this technology. No doubt it would be even more interesting if we got down and really pursued the fine points, but the teacher and the members of the class are on such good terms that we often end up just talking. Even the teacher gets sidetracked a lot.
