山吹高校は生徒によって時間割が違います。だから、ふだんはホームルームがありません。学校や先生との連絡などは、いつもコンピュータの伝言板システムを使います。自分のIDカード（学生証）をコンピュータに通すと、必要な情報を得ることができます。各授業の出席は、それぞれの教室の前にあるレコーダーにIDカードを通して登録します。

Every student at Yamabuki High School has a different class schedule, so we don't have regular homeroom periods. Our teachers and the administration of the school keep us informed of various things we need to know using a computer bulletin board system. When we put our ID card in the slot, the computer displays the information we need. We sign into our classes by inserting our ID cards into a recording device in front of each classroom.
