週に2回、夜の10時から朝の8時まで、ガソリンスタンドでアルバイトをしています。高校3年生になってから、こづかいを稼ぐために始めました。ガソリンスタンドをアルバイト先に選んだのは、車が好きだったからです。時給は1,100円。月にだいたい7、8万円くらいの収入になります。そのうち、3万円が本代、残りが食事代やデート代にきえます。アルバイトの次の日には授業をいれないようにしていますが、演劇の練習があるときはそのまま寝ないで学校に出かけます。

Twice a week, I have an arubaito (part-time job). I work the night shift, 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. at a gasoline station. I started working when I was in third year so I could have some spending money of my own. I chose to work at a gasoline station because I like cars. The hourly wage is 1,100 yen, so I make 70,000 to 80,000 yen a month. I spend about 30,000 yen on books, and the rest vanishes from eating out and dates with my girlfriend. I've planned my class schedule so that I don't have classes on the days after I just finish a shift at work, but when I have drama club practice, I often end up going to school without getting a chance to sleep.
