This is my school, Fushimidai Elementary School. In Japanese elementary school, there are grades one through six.

Notes:

Most students who attend public schools walk to school. They live within walking distance of a public school. However, how much time it takes for them to get to school depends on the region. In urban areas, even students who live relatively far from their school are not more than a twenty-minute walk away, whereas students in rural areas may have to walk up to an hour. For private schools, students often commute by bus or train from far away.
