家族でクリスマスパーティー

わが家はパーティー好きで、家族の誕生日はもちろん、父の日、母の日、クリスマスにひな祭りと、1年に10回くらいは集まって、パーティーを開きます。この日は、両親、お姉ちゃんたち、おいっこ、そしてぼくの彼女が集まりました。
2番めのお姉ちゃん、攝子（左から7番め）は一言で言うと粋な人で、たいへんな人格者であり、ぼくの自慢のお姉ちゃんです。3番めのお姉ちゃん、求美子（左から4番め）は、どんな状況でもなごませる雰囲気をもっています。兄弟のなかで、ぼくの志向にいちばん影響を与えたのは、いちばん上のお姉ちゃん、素子です。とてもマイナーを好み、音楽ならインディーズ系、映画ならミニシアター系が好きという人。彼女の影響で、ぼくもマイナーなものを好むようになったのだと思います。

My family likes parties, so we take advantage of every occasion--birthdays, Father's Day, Mother's Day0, Christmas, Hinamatsuri (Doll's Day)--at least ten times a year--to have parties. My parents, two of my sisters, my nephews, and me and my girlfriend were present at this gathering.
Setsuko (seventh from left), the second of my three sisters has excellent taste and a good sense of style and she is a person of very strong character. She's the kind of sister you like to boast about. Kumiko (fourth from left), the youngest of my three sisters, is the kind of person who brings warmth and cheer wherever she goes. But of all my siblings, it is my eldest sister, Motoko, who has had the strongest influence on me. She is the sort of person who prefers things in non-mainstream genres. In music, she likes indie music, and for film, she likes mini-theater productions. It was her influence that got me interested in minor genres, too.
