I think I've come to realize the importance of having people you like, whether it's girlfriends or friends or whoever, and of all of us helping each other in our lives. When I'm depressed or in trouble, the people around me give me the support that I need to get through it. I know now that I'd be wrong to think that I'm getting ahead in life entirely under my own steam. That's the feeling I tried to express in this song.
