夜10時ごろ、家に帰ります。今日のようにアルバイトがない日は、演劇部の仲間たちといっしょに帰ってきて、いろいろな話をすることも多いです。夕方、授業でチキンカレーをつくって食べたのですが、今夜は遅くまでシナリオを書くつもりなので、魚の干物を焼いて食べました。ふだんは、学校の給食で夕食をすませます。夜間部の生徒には、夜に給食が出るのです。1年間の給食費は16,000円。値段のわりに、味はまあまあよく、量も多いと思います。
ぼくはけっこう好き嫌いがはっきりしています。グリンピースやカキ、チーズなどは苦手です。好きな食べものは、カレーライス、ラーメン、納豆、卵など。基本的に和食が好きです。

I get home around 10:00 at night. On days like this when I don't have to work, sometimes my drama club friends come home with me and we go on talking. Earlier in the evening we had made chicken curry in class, but I'm planning to stay up and write a scenario, so I'm grabbing a quick bowl of rice with grilled himono (dried, salted fish). Usually I get my dinner at school, which serves prepared hot meals for the evening school students. The cost per year of these meals comes to 16,000 yen, which is very reasonable for food that is pretty good tasting and ample in quantity.
I'm quite a picky eater and there are a lot of things I don't like--like green peas, oysters, and cheese. Among my favorite foods are curry and rice, ramen, natto (fermented soybeans), and eggs. Basically I prefer Japanese-style cooking.
