Daniel goes to judo practice with his host family.

A welcome party is held for the FOJ participants at Shobara Kakuchi Senior High School. Members of the photography club have prepared homemade food.

The tatami man’s movements as he sew a fresh cover of reed-matting onto a tatami mat are swift and sure-handed.
The team is treated to iced barley tea in the office of the tatami shop.
