1月になると、3年生はほとんど授業がありません。だから、部活がある日だけ学校に行きます。ぼくは推薦で大学が決まって時間があるので、自動車学校に通っています。今は、目前にせまった学科試験の勉強をしています。車に乗る実習は楽しいのですが、学科の勉強はしんどいです。試験勉強はめんどくさいけれど、早く免許をとりたいのでがんばっています。

In January third-year students have almost no classes, so I go to school only on days when we have football practice. Since I've already been admitted to university by recommended placement, I'm using the extra time to go to driving school. Here I am studying for the written test. The practical driving lessons are fun, but studying for the written test is a pain. It may be a hassle, but I figure if I stick with it, I can get my license pretty quickly.
