【1】Summer holidays are just around the corner!
When is your summer vacation? How long is it? In Japan, it is usually from the end of July to the end of August.
Many special festivals and events are held all over Japan including O-Bon, which is one of the biggest traditional events in the festival calendar. It is usually in mid August. Many companies close in O-Bon period and people take this opportunity to visit their home town or go on a trip.
This issue introduces two articles: one is about how a high school student spent her summer holiday, and another is about the O-Bon festival.
