Message from the photographer

Keiko. We are in the same class and do the same extracurricular activity. She is always ahead of me. I never shine above others. It is jealousy more than cherishing her existence. It is hate more than having an inferiority complex. I hated being near her. Through my lens, she had her own free world. The light in her eyes was full of confidence as she chased a fleeting dream. There was no room for me. Despite the pain, I thought that one day I would be the image in her eyes. Keiko is my rival.

About the subject

I started to photograph my classmate, who is in the same Photography Club, since she attracted my attention.
