Message from the photographer

Our lives are pretty monotonous, just going from dormitory to classroom, to cafeteria, to classroom, and back to the dormitory, over and over—it’s like the old phrase goes “three points make a circle.” On average, we spend about 13 hours in the classroom. While I find this lifestyle unbearably dull, Zhou seems to be making the best of it. When she has free time, she sings, talks with her friends, and does her laundry in the dormitory. But like she says, we become more independent when we leave home and learn to look after ourselves in the dormitory. I want to follow Zhou’s example and make the most of my dorm life and enjoy it while it lasts.

About the subject

Zhou is cute and gentle. Just like any ordinary girl, she loves studying but also chatting with her friends.
