| In groups, students choose one of the seven Deai students and make a list of similarities between the Japanese student they chose and the members of their group, record these on the Worksheet #5 (Nite iru tokoro sagashi), and present them to the whole class. | |||

the students into 7 groups. (It is best to use the same groups as used for Activity
2.) |

The group members list similarities between the Deai student they chose and
themselves, and record them on Worksheet #5 (Niteiru
tokoro sagashi). |

Students
present the results to the whole class. |
 Following the presentations, teachers may encourage discussion about why similarities between the Japanese students and themselves exist. |

 Have the students write e-mail to Japanese high school students introducing themselves and asking about the Japanese students, using what they have learned in Activities 1 through 4. |
