今日は。僕の名前はジェッドです。僕は17才で高校四年生です。僕はフィリピンで生まれましたが1996にアメリカにひっこしました。今ラスベガスに住んでいます。
   四人かぞくです。父はじゅういです。父はどうぶつがすきですがとしよりに成っていますからしごとするのはむずかしくなっていました。父はヘルスケアーのアルバイトをしています。父はいっしょけんめいはたらいていますからそんけいします。母はベラジオホテルではたらいています。母はやさしい人です。母はりょうりが上手です。母はおいしいフィリピンの食べものが作れます。毎日母は食べものを作ってくれます。僕は母をかんしゃします。父と母はいつもいそがしいですからめったに会いません。弟は８才です。弟はかわいいですが時々じゃまくさいです。弟にとって学校はむずかしいですから僕も母もよくいろいろおしえてあげなければなりません。
   ひこうきが好きです。子供の時パイロットに成りたかったです。去年エアーショーに行っていろいろなひこうきを見ました。目の前でひこうきのとぶことを見てこうふんしました。エアーショーで僕の一番好きなひこうきはF-15イーゲルです。すてきです。べいくうぐんに入ったらこのイーゲルでとびたいです。
   ぶじゅつも好きです。子供の時ふるいカングフーえいがをよく見ました。三年前にせっけんどうのどうじょうにかよいました。でも僕の学ぎょうはむずかしく成りましたから今は行けません。僕の一番好きなえいがは「オングーバック」です。けんかするシーンはどえらいです。このえいがを見てからムアイ・タイは一番好きなぶじゅつに成りました。そつぎょうする時ぶじゅつをまたれんしゅうするだろうと思います。
   ビデオゲームは一番好きなどうらくです。することがない時ビデオゲームをします。いろいろなゲームのすることが好きですがけんかゲームが一番好きです。僕の一番すきなけんかゲームはテッケン５です。ゲームセンターでよくします。メーンキャラクターをいつもつかうからそのキャラクターのかみのスタイルをまねします。
   僕は今年高校をそつぎょうしてからネバダ大学（UNLV）にかようつもりです。キネシオロジーをべんきょします。僕はけがした人がたすけたいからりょうほうしに成るつもりです。高校の日本語じゅぎょうはとてもたのしかったですから大学でも日本語をべんきょうするだろうと思います。

Hi.  My name is Jedd.  I am 17 years old and a senior in high school.  I was born in the Philippines but I moved to America in 1996.  Now I live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
      There are four people in my family.  My father is a veterinarian.  He likes animals, but his job is getting difficult because of his old age.  He works part-time as a home healthcare employee.  He works hard all the time so I am proud of him.  My mother works at the Bellagio Hotel.  She is a nice person and is very good at cooking.  She can cook delicious Filipino foods.  She cooks everyday so I am thankful to her.  My mother and father are often busy so I don’t see them much.  My little brother is 8 years old.  He is cute but can be annoying sometimes.   He is having a hard time at school so my mother and I often have to teach him.
      I like airplanes.  When I was a kid I wanted to become a pilot.  Last year I went to an air show and saw many different kinds of planes.  I was happy to see my favorite planes in person.  My favorite plane is the F-15 Eagle.  It looks cool.  If I was in the Air Force, this would be the plane I want to use. 
      I also like martial arts.  When I was a kid I often watched old kung fu movies.  I used to attend a Jeet Kune Do school three years ago, but I had to stop going because I was having a difficult time with my schoolwork.  My favorite movie is Ong-Bak because the fight scenes are awesome.  After watching this movie, Muay Thai became my favorite martial art.  I plan to train in martial arts again when I graduate.
      Video games are my favorite hobby.  Whenever I have nothing to do I play video games.  I enjoy playing various kinds of games, but I like fighting games the most.  My favorite fighting game is Tekken 5.  I often go to play in arcades.  Since I usually play as the main character, I imitated his hairstyle.
      I am going to go to UNLV after graduating from high school this year.  I will study kinesiology.  I intend to become a physical therapist because I want to help injured people.  Because my Japanese class was so fun, I plan to take Japanese in college too.
