I cried over a TV program for the first time in a long while. It was about a boy fighting a severe illness. Actually, he wasn't fighting it; he was just thinking of the people around him. He seemed to think that his illness came second. My grandmother has diabetes. She is very frail and weighs only twenty-three kilograms. But she has spark, and a sturdier spirit than anyone.
      The boy in the TV program reminded me of her. Both rely on help from others to live their daily lives, but what they give to others is much greater. It isn't anything material but something else. Although the boy died when he was still very young, I'd like to honor his spirit by being useful to others.
      I want to communicate something to others. I have many different faces. In order not to lose myself, I want to work on making myself a person I myself can like. I think that when we like ourselves we can win the love and trust of others.
