1. Purpose
The purpose of school clubs is to provide students with opportunities to pursue activities with other students of shared interests and tastes, to seek harmony of mind and body and personal growth, to heighten self-awareness as a member of a group, and to cultivate the ability to channel one's abilities correctly toward the future.

2. Principles
Club members should follow the school rules, behave appropriately at all times, and strive to be a model for other students. Members should take particular care about their appearance and attire while commuting to and from school; warm-up coats for relief players, windbreakers, and other club-related clothing should never be worn other than for club activities.

3. Practice times
(1) Club activities will not be held while special school events are taking place.

(2) Club activities will be held until 6:30 p.m. after school. Activities may be extended if an advisor is on site providing instruction to club members, but the school must be completely vacated by 8:00 p.m. for male students and by 7:00 p.m. for female students.

(3) Club activities will be suspended beginning one week prior to all scheduled exams and lasting until the exams have ended.

5. Procedures for Club Admission and Exit
(1) Starting on the first of May, new applicants are admitted to clubs as members. The period leading up to this is considered a trial period and interested students need not submit the Application for Club Admission/Exit during that period.

(2) The Application Form for Club Admission/Exit may be obtained from the student association office in the department of student advising. Once the applicant has received the signature seals of his or her parent or guardian, homeroom teacher, and advisor, and the student association office in the department of student advising, the application form should be submitted to the club advisor.

(3) Club admission fees may not exceed 2000 yen, and club dues may not exceed 1000 yen per month.
