Special schools for people with disabilities
盲･聾・養護学校
もう・ろう・ようごがっこう
Mogakko are schools for the visually impaired, rogakko for the hearing impaired, and yogo gakko are for those with mental or physical disabilities, with weak physical health, or other special needs. Some students with disabilities also attend regular schools, if they express the desire to do so and if the school agrees.
