Iheyajima island 伊平屋島 いへやじま An island in the northern-most part of Okinawa prefecture, it can be reached by ferry from the main island of Okinawa in about an hour and 20 minutes. Area 21.7 square kilometers; population about 1,600 (as of 2000). ts_p13 ts_p13_1
