I'm using Deai for the elementary school students. No.51

Yesterday, I displayed the Deai Kit at our weekly staff meeting. The teachers are arguing over who gets to use it first!! It is magnificant.

The Fifth Grade is planning a "buddy" activity with the Kindergarten next week, and plan to use the kit. There are enough pictures of the high school students when they were young children to pique the interest of the little ones. Also the text material covering the elementary and junior high years of the students is delightfully presented, and they can identify with that.

The First Grade is already planning to use some of the pictures as "writing prompts"---having the kids write little, descriptive stories about what is going on in a picture.

I will certainly send more feedback as time goes on, but I wanted to convey our appreciation for this wonderful resource you have provided to us.

The donation of Deai Kits is primarily aimed at junior and senior high schools. However, we are willing to donate kits to elementary schools or universities on condition that the recipient provides us with feedback, including the lesson plans she/he creates for Deai and any ideas she/he has for putting Deai to good use.
