CD-ROMはWindowsとMacintoshの両方に対応しています。CD-ROM1には画像ファイルと画像を検索するためのカタログファイルが入っています。カタログファイルを使うには、事前にCD-ROM1に入っているCumulus Browserというソフトをインストールする必要があります。CD-ROM2のビデオを見るには、事前にQuick Time v.4.0以上がインストールされていなくてはなりません。CD-ROM2のなかにはQuickTime5.0が入っています。CD-ROM2を見るには、Windowsの場合、CPUがPentium MMX 200MHz、OSがwindows95, 98, ME, 2000, NT4.0 Service Pack3以上、メモリーが64MB以上あることが望ましいです。Macintoshの場合は、CPUがPowerPC G3以上、OS9.0以上(ただしOS-Xは不可）、メモリーが64MB以上が望ましいとされています。
The CD-ROMs work with both Windows and Macintosh. CD-ROM1 contains the individual image files along with a catalogue file for searching the images. Before you can use this catalogue file, however, you must install the Cumulus Browser software included on CD-ROM1. QuickTime 4.0 or above must be installed before viewing the videos included on CD-ROM2. QuickTime 5.0 is included on CD-ROM2. For viewing the CD-ROM2 in a windows environment, we recommend having at least a 200MHz Pentium processor, Windows 95 or above, and 64 MB of memory. For a Macintosh, it is best to have a G3 PowerPC or above, with OS 9.0 or above (please note, though, that it is not compatible with OS-X), and at least 64 MB of memory.
